Mariam has extensive experience in the world of Business. She headed the Delivery Partner division at Investors in People SA, supporting the SETAs in the implementation and marketing of Investors in People. Her experience in Investors in People includes advisory services, assessment services and project management.
Prior to this position Mariam was revelling in the world of film making as the Financial, Administration and Registration Director of SITHENGI, the South African International Film Market. She cut her teeth in marketing when she worked for Target Advertising, a Durban based company as their accountant and then later as a Media Planner and Buyer. Mike Tanner – Associate

Originally trained at Rolls Royce in the sixties, he worked there and at Hatfield Polytechnic for ten years as a project manager. He then moved to Bournemouth and worked at the University as a lecturer, counsellor and manager. He has worked with large portfolio of clients ranging from blue chip companies such as The Welcome Trust, ABB and Zellweger Analytics, to smaller specialist organisations who supply to niche markets in such areas as electronics, presentation materials, engineering and business services. He is currently working with Dr. Meredith Belbin in the development of “Work Roles” and has published a management game, “Assignment”, which looks at the different styles managers adopt when delegating work.
